first define what COP27 means
We have been hearing a lot about Biden in Egypt for the COP27 conference. Do you know what COP27 is? Do you know what COP27 means? It’s the Conference of the Parties and 27 is the number of times they’ve met. The full title is the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change. This year it’s held in Egypt. What is it for? It is suppose to reunify countries pledge on climate change with the legally binding treaty, the Paris Agreement.
the liberals obsession with climate change
From Nov. 6th to the 18th, climate activists are meeting in Egypt. Biden wasted no time getting to Egypt following the midterm elections. It’s time to head straight into the liberals obsession with climate change. What would a climate meeting be without John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi?
Biden delivered a fearful speech
Biden spoke on Veterans day and referred to veterans of the U.S. as the “spine and soul of the United States.” He once again made a reference to his sons sacrifice to our nation. He then sang the praises of John Kerry. Biden wants to avoid “climate catastrophe” for the “present and future, but for the eyes of history”? That is not a typo on my part and it absolutely sounds like something he would say.
Then comes the scare tactics. Biden said the last 8 years are the warmest on record. He added the U.S. is having droughts, fires, and hurricanes. He said Africa is seeing drought, food insecurity, and hunger. Call me crazy, but isn’t that an issue in Africa forever. 50 years ago, we heard at the dinner table to eat all your food because of starving kids in Africa. We are not saying that as a way of not caring, but just that it’s not a new issue.
The climate crisis is about human security, economic security, environmental security, national security, and the very life of the planet.

Starving Africans wasn’t the only issue from years ago, in the 70s-and 80s, the Earth was freezing over with the coming ice age.
Using fear is not new to our government. What better way to control people than to use global destruction?
Biden thinks he is the worlds climate savior
Then comes the bs. Biden boasted how he has increased energy security in the U.S. and the world. He says he immediately rejoined the Paris Agreement and other climate summits. He added an apology for leaving them. Biden says that he is inspiring other countries to up their climate crisis game. More bs came flying out of his mouth about how he has improved infrastructure with our power grid. It now provides more and clean energy. This one is almost funny,
And this summer, the United States Congress passed and I signed into law my proposal for the biggest, most important climate bill in the history of our country — the Inflation Reduction Act. (Applause.)

Biden finally admitted that his Inflation Reduction Act is just the largest climate change bill in history. 368 billion in that bill is for clean energy. He is investing in technology, batteries, and hydrogen to reduce energy costs in the U.S. and other countries. Biden thinks he is somehow making the “transition” affordable to everyone.

our Paris Agreement goal of reducing emissions 50 to 52 percent below ’25 [sic] levels by — 2005 levels by 2030.

And there’s that pesky 2030 again.
Biden reasons throwing money around

Biden said that he requested 2 billion to prepare other countries this year for climate change. He announced that, on the day of this speech, he was using 150 million “down payment” in initiatives for this plan in Africa. He calls this plan “PREPARE.” It is the emergency plan for adaptation and resilience. Seriously?
This includes support for expanding early warning systems to help cover Africa, broadening access to climate finance, providing disaster-risk protection, strengthening food security, mobilizing the private sector, and supporting a new training center in Egypt to accelerate adaptation across the efforts all across the continent.

And guess what? The United States was the first ever contributor to this. Biden also added that he is supporting the G7 partnership. We sent 2 billion to Angola for a solar project. He stressed that it was all Russia’s fault for food and energy shortages.
He announced his “Methane Emissions Reductions Plan Act.” It went into effect the day of the speech. This supposedly reduces methane by 30% by, guess when, 2030. Biden is investing 20 billion into that one here, in the U.S.. 2030 popped up in his speech several times.
There is more to this speech and his announcements that you can read by going to the links we provided on the quotes.
what is the COP27 “just transition”
At the COP27, there is a section of “just transition.” It is a key element of the Paris Agreement. It’s a “just transition” of the worlds economies response to climate change. They want to ensure local and global climate action to save the planet. It addresses the specific needs of developing countries that are defenseless on climate change.
COP27 have goals for “just transition.” They are to integrate “just transition” principles. Another goal is to establish dialog between policy makers, leaders, and of course, financial authorities. COP27 will focus on protecting communities at 3 levels, citizens, sectors, and countries. And the last big goal is to ensure financial consistency.
You can read a lot more about the COP27 here,
from one summit to the next
Biden went from the COP27 to the G20. The G20 was formed in 1999. It’s a group of 20 of the largest economies that meet to coordinate global trade, Ukraine war, economy, and of course, climate change. Biden promises to cooperate , after Trump clashed with the group.
Biden had a 3 hour meeting with Xi of China. He warned Xi that North Korea’s persistence with weapons will force the U.S. to enhance it’s presence in the region. Xi warned Biden that Taiwan is red line in the sand that must not be crossed. Biden said that he doesn’t believe that there is an “imminent” threat of China invading Taiwan. Biden also told Xi that our policy with Taiwan didn’t change. Before the meeting, Biden and Xi shook hands and Biden told Xi that it was nice to see him. Neither leader wore a mask.
Biden said that he sees no need for a cold war with China. Time will tell exactly how much Xi will respect what Biden said. If you read any of the worlds news, not in the U.S., you will see that the world finds our POTUS, to be a joke. It’s unlikely that Xi or anyone else has any respect for Biden and his words.
