The University of Pennsylvania nominated Lea Thomas for NCAA woman of the year. This award, which was established in 1991, is for distinguished female athletes. Member schools can select 2 nominees. Thomas competes in womens swimming. She is transgender. Many feel she has an unfair advantage against biological women.
swim career
Lia Thomas started out as a male swimmer. She was ranked in the mid 500’s range competing against males. Thomas went from the mid 500’s to a top ranked female swimmer. She got the fastest time in the nation in the 500 freestyle. You look at those numbers and there is no denying she has an unfair advantage.
Fake news lists her as being 5 foot 8 inches tall. Then they add that her height is unavailable. She looks taller than 5 foot 8. Our opinion is that they are making her a little smaller to make her advantage over biological females less. One lists her as being 6 foot 1 inch and that seems more accurate. Fox news brings up the point that she went through puberty as a male.

Riley Gaines is a former swimmer for the U.K..
“First, a female national title and now nominated for the pinnacle award in collegiate athletics. The NCAA has made this award worthless,” Gaines added in the tweet.

She has really hit the nail on the head. A biological male has stolen an award designed for females.

This is just another example of women being cancelled in our current woke culture. How is this fair to women? Women have worked tremendously hard to get what they honestly have earned. It has been a battle to get there women are today. Now it is being ripped right out from under them. Doors are being closed to women.
Imagine you have a daughter and you are low income. Your daughter works hard to earn a sports scholarship to be able to go to college. Not that scholarship was taken by a male. Do you seriously think that is fair?
Women are being stripped of opportunities. They are being cancelled. We have a Judge in the highest court in the U.S. that doesn’t know what a woman is and she is one.
some are speaking out
The list is growing for those who are speaking out against this nomination. Among those is Martina Navratilova. Martina is a tennis legend. Marjorie Taylor-Green and Piers Morgan have also spoken up for women. Don’t women deserve better?
Where are all the women’s rights activists now? Clearly woke transgender idealism trumps women’s rights. The woke left has been crying about how far back the Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision has set women. They need to make up their minds. They don’t know what women are when it’s convenient. Women are set back with abortions. But it’s okay to strip women of awards, scholarships and etc. That is the hypocritical left. They believe in things when they need too.
what this isn’t about
If anyone speaks out about these types of injustices, the left gives a label. This isn’t about being transphobic. This is about taking away from one group to give to another. 20, 30, 40 years ago, it was a good thing to stick up for women. Now, we don’t know what women are. There was a time when being a woman or a mother was something to be proud of, now they no longer exist.
This is a fact. Men can not have babies or get pregnant. It’s simple. You can twist that to what ever you want, but that is a fact. A man becomes a woman, he can’t get pregnant or give birth. A woman becomes a man, can get pregnant. Why would they want too? You go through the trouble to change your sex, but then want to still take advantage of the sex you don’t want. No matter how you look at it, a woman who changes to a man and gets pregnant is still using her woman parts. This person is not a man biologically. It is a fact.
Stating facts doesn’t make someone transphobic.

If Lia Thomas wants to be a girl, that’s his/her business. She can live her life in the manner she sees fit. That is as long is it does not adversely effect anyone else. This could be said for anyone over anything. Lia Thomas is taking from women. That is selfish and she should be ashamed. Go live like a girl if you want, that’s your right, but leave everyone else out of it. You must be so proud to be able to beat girls. This craziness needs to end.
