it’s not over yet
It wasn’t the gigantic red wave that conservatives were hoping for, but there were some big wins. DeSantis crushed in Florida, turning Miami red. Rubio also won big, in Florida. Republicans are on track to take the House. It’s not over for the Senate either. Republicans may win the Senate, if Walker takes his Senate seat in December.
colossal loss in Pennsylvania
It is impossible to wrap my head around who would vote for Fetterman. The excuse for not liking Oz was that he was from New Jersey. No one held that against Hillary Clinton when she ran in New York and was not from there. There we go with the hypocrisy. Oprah, who lives in Hawaii, is also a huge hypocrite. She endorsed Fetterman, even though she is responsible for Oz’s fame. Why is she butting into Pa. politics? Why do people care what she thinks?
Do those who put Fetterman in office like the price of fuel and food? They must. More will loose jobs and inflation is going to only get worse. We personally know farmers who are only farming a small portion of what they are capable of because it’s to costly. Those farmers know many farmers who are no longer farming. Food shortages are on the way. Good job Pa voters.
Do the people that voted for Fetterman understand what his job will be? Senators debate. That is their job. They debate each other. Do you seriously think Fetterman will be able to debate a room full of people when he was unable to debate Oz, one on one. Do you seriously think his little thinking translator he needed will be able to keep up with a bunch of people arguing all at one time?
Arizona is another joke
How is it possible that the girl who is running for Governor, Katie Hobbs, is legally allowed to be in charge of voting machines. No one sees a conflict of interest? The machines didn’t work and that error falls squarely on the shoulders of Hobbs. People are ok with that? Kari Lake has to be one of the most popular candidates in the US right now. She calls out the media for their fake news. The world watches her, literally, news from all over the world, sends reporters to see her. And her race is too close to call, this after machines in Maricopa County failed.
20% of machines in the largest county. We should know results by Friday. Third world countries know results in days and weeks, not the US. Do you find any of this acceptable?
on the up side
Pennsylvania and Arizona are a huge disappointment and disgrace. Putting those aside, Republicans are looking pretty good. It is possible for Republicans to win back both the House and Senate. That is the most important thing right now. It won’t be by the big red tsunami that the Republicans hoped for, but a win none the less.
it is so sad
Is it not incredibly sad that young people have no idea what they have done to this country? They all are happy with the fact that they think they will get debt forgiveness for student loans. There are many who are happy with stimulus packages. Let’s not forget that Fetterman wants to let all criminals out of jail and wants to have drug bars. The people who vote for this stuff are either ignorant to what Socialism really is or are incredibly selfish. Start asking the people you know why they voted for Fetterman and please comment your answers so we can all start making sense of this.
Is it not sad that Biden gets credit for job growth? He had nothing to do with job growth. They were jobs lost by Covid. There are very few good things going on in the US and Biden is not responsible for them. He does however get credit for the hurt and misery he has created for everyone. It’s incredibly disgusting we live in a country that rations heat.
do people really understand
Do people understand how bad it is in the US right now? We are living like a 3rd world country and that is not an exaggeration. We are now living in a country that rations heat! Never would I have expected I would see that in my lifetime here in the US. We are going to be having food shortages. We already have gas shortages.
Prices are going to continue to go up. Maybe you are among those who don’t mind high prices and shortages. If so you are lucky. Most are not quite so fortunate.
The most important takeaway is that it is not over yet. Republicans still have a shot at the Senate. There was a red wave, just not a tsunami. Pennsylvania was a disappointment. It is sad to think so many vote party and not person. Even with just the House, there will be many changes and good things to come.
