now a myth
In the 1970’s there was a lot of news about the impending ice age. It was a big deal much like global warming today. This might be the biggest flip-flop in the last century. We went from the Earth freezing over to the Earth heating up in 40 years. Just like global warming, the ice age was going to be a cataclysmic event. What is even stranger is the 70’s ice age is now considered a myth. In the 70’s it wasn’t a myth, it was Science fact.
Science is ever changing. Scientists learn from experiments, trial, error, and a whole lot of studying data. It shouldn’t be difficult for anyone to understand that Science evolves and changes as they learn more. Scientists learn new things and more about old things every single day. It is an exciting field. Science evolves, look at medicine and technology over the last 100 years. When Scientists get it wrong people go crazy, but Science changes and no one is perfect. They learn from and study their mistakes and hopefully get it right the next time.
Why label the ice age a myth? Science got it wrong. So, learn from and study the mistakes and move on. Do Scientists think by labeling their error a myth, somehow makes the polar opposite they preach now, more credible?
wasn’t a myth
In the 70’s, this wasn’t a myth. Scientists studied this. It sounded scary. We had visions of cavemen wearing furs and spears with mammoths for dinner. Well, maybe not that, but Scientists did study this and there were real reasons as to why we were going to have an ice age. Just like today, with global warming, there were facts. The facts pointed to an ice age.
aerosols
The fact is the Earth was cooling or at least that’s what we were told. Aerosols were to blame. Again, at least at the time, this was Science fact.
We now know, and suspected at the time, that the cooling was indeed strongly influenced by humans as a result of industrial emissions of aerosol particles (see Wikipedia).

These aerosols, primarily in the form of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide, scatter and reflect incoming light, cooling Earth’s surface.

In 1971, S. Ichtiaque Rasool and Stephen H. Schneider published a paper in Science titled “Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide and Aerosols: Effects of Large Increases on Global Climate.” They predicted in the paper that rapidly increasing levels of sulfate in the atmosphere could cause the global temperature to continue to fall.

The whole point of the quotes is to show, this was no myth and why are they labeling it one now? I think it’s because they want people to trust their Science on global warming.
The theory was that the aerosols in the atmosphere blocked solar radiation and was causing the Earth to cool. Just like the Science and theories today, it was believable. These people can be convincing and like today, the government stepped in and stopped a lot of the aerosols. The days of all the spray cans of hairspray, bug spray, and spray paints, just to name a few, were either over or they were dramatically changed to eliminate the aerosols in the atmosphere.
orbital forcing
Aerosols were not the only culprits for the Earth’s cooling, there was orbital forcing. Orbital forcing is the effect on climate by the Earth’s tilt on its axis and it’s orbit around the sun. These changes can effect the amount of sunlight hitting Earth. This forcing effects Earths climate. It is believed that this orbital forcing is the cause of Earths past ice ages. An orbital period can be 20,000 years. This can be tracked to over a billion years ago.

These articles go on and on. Newsweek, Time magazine, the National Science Board, and the National Academy of Sciences all reported on our cooling Earth.
1980’s and 1990’s
In the 1980’s came the nuclear winter. Bushfires and wild land fires all were a concern that could start a nuclear winter. Of course, not just the fires, an an actual nuclear war would also be a cause for a long nuclear winter. Then the Iraqi military set fire to oil wells. They set fire to anywhere from 600 to over 700 oil wells in Kuwait. Every single time the government or Scientists tell you these world ending stories, you are left with fear in your heart. Which is what they are hoping for. In 1998, there were high temperatures, but by 1999, that was reported as a fluke. By 1999 we were back to an ice age.
2001
By 2001, there was a whole new attitude towards the ice age. Scientists realized they had been wrong. Earth was spared an ice age.
now we are heating up
The myth of an ice age has been sometimes used against the global warming theory. People say that the Scientists got it wrong with an ice age, how can you believe about warming? Time magazine, which reported on the ice age, was now calling the ice age a fallacy
2005
Vice President Al Gore started the Climate Reality Project. Then Al Gore hits the scene with a documentary.
Gore starred in the documentary filmAn Inconvenient Truth, released on May 24, 2006. The film documents the evidence for anthropogenicglobal warming and warns of the consequences of people not making immediate changes to their behavior. It is the fourth-highest-grossing documentary in U.S. history.[73]
global warming to climate change
Many weren’t buying into global warming. The name changed from global warming to climate change as a way to make believers out of people. It is a very divided topic. The believers are fanatics. The non-believers just want to go about their own business. The fanatics are trying to force the non-believers into changing their way of life and it’s not well received. Now the WEF, with help from wealthy elites, politicians, celebs, and business tycoons, is trying to change the planet. More like, take over the planet. People will not have any other choice but to abide by their rules.
There will be forced compliance and punishments for those who don’t obey the rules. They whole thing has gotten out of hand, when just a few years ago, we were expecting an ice age.
in our opinion
We believe that humans are destroying wildlife. The trash islands in the oceans are horrible. It kills the wildlife. Human behavior is causing extinctions. It is very sad. Some species have been hunted to the point there is no more. Human are cruel. We pollute the air and dirty the water. It’s doubtful that anyone would dispute this. If you study the Earth, you’d know it goes through periods of cooling and warming. We firmly believe people need to clean up the environment, the water and air, and save wildlife. Are we at the point where we all need to stop eating meat and start eating bugs, we don’t think so.
Look at the people (the WEF), pushing for this agenda. Their plans, which you can look for yourself, leads to them controlling the Earth, not saving it. One government, one banking system, implanting people to track what they do, where they go, tracking their carbon footprint, knowing what people eat and buy, and the list goes on, does not save the planet. It gives them control or dominance over the planet. People will own nothing and be happy. Something tells me that doesn’t include everyone. It sounds crazy, but it’s already begun in some countries. It’s spreading through the European countries now. Every country in the world is involved, look it up for yourself. Google, google, google, it’s the one thing, they don’t censor.
